Game Processing Fees

Keep it Clean…Keep it Cold…We can do the rest

Game may be refused if it arrives dirty, spoiled, showing signs of overkill, excessive hair, or if product has not been kept under proper holding conditions (ie. Temperature / Moisture).  Severely damaged product will be noted on the work order.  If hair or debris is excessive, customer may be required to pay a minimum of $25.00 per order for removal of contamination.  Photographs may be taken for verification.  Additional fees apply if legs or head are left on.

Prairie Meats will not process heavily damaged carcass portions or ribcage areas.

Large Game $300.00 minimum  
  $1.15 per lb  
 If you have 50 lbs or more of a single flavour of sausage procesing done, we will discount the sausage processing by .25 / lb.

  Loins: Steaks / Roast / Cutlets / Jerky
  Sirloin: Steaks / Roast
  Legs: Steaks / Roast / Cutlets / Jerky
     
Small Game $200.00 per animal  
  $1.15 per lb

This is billed in 15 minute increments.  This fee is only charged if game or game trim is heavily soiled and  extensive cleaning is necessary to make trim into food products
